Collection: Vinegars and Oils

Our in house blends include a range of carameliesd balsamic vinegars and infused olive oils. The olive oils are made from cold pressed olive oil and infused with various flavours for a couple of months to create a nice robust flavour. Cold pressed oils are a high quality oil and need a lower temperature to get the best cooking from them, ideally they shouldn't splatter due to high temperatures.

Caramelised balsamic vinegars come in a variety of flavours, they can be used as salad dressings and can be used in a number of ways. For example the dark fig flavour contrasts really well with strawberries and is excellent drizzled over bruschetta. The white fig flavour is delicious on icecream or on steamed vegetables. Some more fruity flavours make and excellent balsamic tea which tastes great and is very refreshing. My personal favourite is the garlic flavour when we are cooking corned silverside and a dash of this helps make the meat so tender and melt in your mouth.
