Collection: Dukkahs
Dukkahs originated in Ancient Egypt and are traditionally a nut and seed blend. In ancient times each family had their own specific blend that they would create and sell at the local markets. The most notable one is a hazelnut and pistachio blend which is the closest to the traditional blends. Traditionally dukkahs are eaten with crusty bread and olive oil as an entree. The bread is dipped between the oil and dukkah and eaten that way.
As you can see from our range we have many savoury dukkahs which can be eaten in the traditional way or they might be added to scrambled eggs, used as a coating for grilled fish or even sprinkled through a salad. The possibilities are only limited by your dishes.
In addition we have some sweet or dessert dukkahs which can be sprinkled over pancakes, icecream or used with fresh fruit for a fruit dipping platter. Something that can be prepared ahead in advance and amaze you guests when you are entertaining.
